When your prospects see you promote your offers, their six ‘protectors’ rush into their mind.
The role of these protectors is to keep your prospect ‘safe’ by loudly letting them know all the reasons why they Must. Not. Buy.
Their objections MAY be valid, but our prospective client does not yet have enough information to discern truth from fiction.
That’s where you come in.
Think of these ‘objections’ like skittles in a bowling game.
The objective of your promo copy and content is to knock each of these skittles down, one by one, so there’s a clear lane between where your reader stands now and your checkout at the other end.
1: “I don’t know what’s included!”.
Be sure to list at least three deliverables (features) and explain clearly how they serve your prospect’s needs (benefits).
2: “Is this offer the best option to suit my needs?”
Describe who the offer is BEST suited to – the IDEAL buyer.
(It’s NEVER everyone!)
If it’s an online program, tell them why the way it’s being delivered (e.g., 1:1 or group) is best for them.
3: “It won’t work for me!”
Address any false beliefs they might have.
E.g., if you are dyslexic or English is not your first language, you may believe that you’re not able to write great sales copy.
(That’s not true.
Many top copywriters are dyslexic or non-native speakers!)
4: “Will this offer work for ‘me’?”
We ALL believe that our set of circumstances are unique.
Newsflash: they never are!
To demonstrate you understand their caution, show proof from previous clients, ‘like them.’
For example, if you are a B&B owner, you would be reassured to see social proof from another B&B owner who has previously got results.
5: “I’ll buy it later when I am ready!”
Buying requires effort.
They may also perceive they should wait until…

6: “Does it suit my schedule?”
If there are live calls, when are they? Which time zone?
What happens if they cannot attend?
When will they get access? Is it instant or drip?
