These are my 5 reasons to batch your social media content each month:

You are seen by your ideal clients regularly, reminding them of your expertise and how you can help.

It takes the pressure off you on a day to day basis.

Not feeling in the mood to write something new to post?

You have your batch in the bank, ready to go!

I also find going through my content doc sparks up ideas and gets me fired up to write even more new content.

It takes me a few hours, spread over several sittings to batch 30 days of these posts.

I tend to do 7 days as a time and each post inspires a few more that I add onto the end of the list.

The key is to ensure you stay in response:

Consume > idea > write copy > create image/s.

Or, consume > idea > create image/s > write copy.

It would take much more thinking time if I tried to start with the need to write from scratch.

Because you are in a cycle of responding, you unlock a strong flow of ideas.

In fact, I have had to stop writing this post twice because new ideas have come to me that I wanted to quickly add.

I used to really struggle with batching as it was so painfully dry, like trying to squeeze water out of a stone.

Now I giggle to myself at how easy it is.
