Are You Doing This Wrong With Your Email Marketing?

If you’ve been building an ‘email list’ of contacts in your Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail etc contacts,

you MUST stop sending marketing emails to these contacts.

You have NOT received explicit consent to do so!

It is a breach of spam regulations to send marketing WITHOUT explicit documented consent AND without including an unsubscribe link in every email. 

You CANNOT ask people to reply to an email to unsubscribe, either.

It only takes ONE person to report your email as spam (which is very likely to happen because most people know the above), and your email provider will ban your access to your account.

Instead, sign up for a reputable email marketing service (I recommend Gold Star Pro), create a GDPR compliant opt-in form and invite people to subscribe.

You can send marketing emails to the people who complete that form because they have granted permission and every email will automatically include the unsubscribe option.
