When you LOVE a product, helping them reach more people by promoting as an affiliate is a fun way of making money.
However, while many experts will sing the praises of affiliate marketing, few will tell you the reality of doing it.

Buckle up… there’s a few things you need to know…
1-You will spend time creating posts and having conversations about the product, then people will buy without using your affiliate link, so you won’t get paid.
2-Or, you’ll do a great job of selling the offer, and without the person realising the implications, they’ll see an email promotion from someone else, and buy with their link.
3-If the buyer is on an iOS device, when they arrive at the sales page, Apple will ask them if they will allow the site to track them all over the internet.
80%+ of people say no… which means your referral won’t be tracked!
4-You’ll be asked way more questions about other people’s offers than you receive for your own,
5-This final one is my fave, and it’s something I do which means I’m consistently one of, or the top affiliates.
What most people do when promoting someone else’s offer is use the link the seller gave them, which goes directly to the seller’s sales page.
Bear in mind, your audience know you well.
They probably do not know the other person.
So, when you send people directly from your content to their sales page, there’s a big leap into the unknown.
Instead, any time I’m doing an “affiliate launch campaign”, I build a landing page where I explain why I’m recommending, what I love, and often, I record a video showing what is inside.
Then, from that page, I have buttons that go to their sales page, via my affiliate link.
If you want to see what I mean, go to my Online Hub via my bio.
When you get to my Hub, you’ll see the affiliate offers I promote.
Viral Marketing Stars and Gold Star Pro have bridge pages, so you’ll go from my Hub to my bridge page to their sales page.
