The mistake many coaches, trainers, therapists, and service-providers make is to write benefit lists like this:

HOW their clients will get the outcome

WHAT the outcome is

Like this…

HOW: “Discover the core needs every human is wired to desire”

WHAT: so you write sales copy benefits that match the reasons people buy”

For your reader to perceive your offer as valuable to them, you should be writing benefit tick lists like this:

WHAT the outcome is

WHY they should care – the reason they’ll buy.

Like this…

WHAT: “Write sales copy benefits that match the reasons people buy”

WHY: “so you reliably motivate more of your followers to become paying clients!”

Your benefits, the why, should link back to the core need motivations of your ideal buyer.

Broadly speaking, the motivators are to attain SAFETY and SECURITY in the area of life or business your work covers or to avoid losing the safety and security they already enjoy in this area.
