At the age of 40, I can now add “Page 3 Girl” to my list of life achievements! Don’t get too excited though – I’m not ‘that’ kinda girl! No, as an organiser I recently gave an interview to Surrey Mirror about our upcoming Redhill and Reigate Tweet Up and it was featured on page 3 of the newspaper. Still, claiming to be a Page 3 Girl does generate a bit of excitement hey?

If you’re not familiar with the term Tweet Up, it is the title given to a get together of local people who have initially met and built relationships on Twitter then come together for a social event and meet in real life. The Redhill and Reigate Tweet Up is taking place on March 10th at The Feathers Public House in Merstham. We have 21 confirmed attendees already so it is set to be a great night.

If you are a Twitter user local to Redhill or Reigate and would like to join us for the evening, please contact me via Twitter and I will send you the invitation. The only condition of attendance is that you must be a Twitter user but if you are not already, there is still plenty of time to get involved. Get in touch if you need any help or advice on setting up a Twitter profile or if you’d like some training on how to use Twitter.

You will be able to keep up to date with news of the event by watching #randrtweetup2 in Twitter
