I’m always heartened when a business provides exemplary customer service and even more so when this occurs on Twitter. We often hear negative reports of both customer service and of customers being ignored on Twitter– I’m pleased I can tell you a positive story today.

Last Christmas I bought my husband a Polaroid PoGo Printer as a gift and recently he has managed to lose the mains charger. If you’re not familiar with PoGos they are a small printing device that enables you to print Polaroid images from your mobile phone or camera via Bluetooth. To be honest, they are just for fun but it still works and every now and again you will find him flapping photos in the air to make sure the ink is dry – do you remember doing that years ago?!

We searched online for a replacement charger to no avail and Hubby decided to tweet @Polaroid asking for details of a UK stockist. They replied;

“@Bill626 You can reach out to Westcoast Asset Management in the Uk. Tel 0118 9212 6250 or email gary.richards@westcoast.co.uk”

An email was sent and Westcoast responded quickly with a request for our postal address. This morning a PoGo mains charger arrived having been sent first class by Westcoast. Great response from Polaroid but fantastic service from Westcoast – thank you both and to Westcoast I’ve written this post as a gesture of our appreciation.
