These are my three ways to curate your Facebook feed so you can reach more of your ideal clients:



1: Unfollow


For every post you see in your newsfeed, ask yourself if this person or page’s posts add value to you.


(Value may be entertainment, useful info, keeping in touch, wise guidance, or any other positive reason you want them to stick around in your feed.)


If you regularly scroll past their posts, feel frustrated by their views or they add no positive benefit to you, click through to the page or profile and unfollow them.


Unfollowing means their posts will not show in your feed, but you will still be connected.


They won’t be informed.



2: Periodically change the order of posts


Facebook’s default setting displays in “top posts” order.


A ‘top posts’ feed shows you more of what you like, so you keep scrolling and Facebook can show you more ads.


When you switch to the “Most Recent” order, you will see a bunch of posts from people and pages you have not seen for a while.



3: View the Groups feed.


This will become your favourite feed for business networking, providing you have joined relevant groups where members engage with other people’s posts inside.


The groups feed will show you only content from those groups, all in one place.


If you are serious about getting paying clients from social media, then curating your feed is ESSENTIAL!


However, that’s only the first step of increasing your visibility so you’re reaching more of your ideal clients.


When you read posts without leaving a comment, you are INVISIBLE!


Suppose you have 30-minutes a day to spend on marketing…


Taking the entire half-hour to scroll a non-curated feed and ignore every post is not going to get you in front of your ideal clients.


What a waste!


With a well-curated newsfeed, in that same 30 minutes, you will have:


… engaged with at least 4-5 posts,


… reached and impacted potentially thousands of people,


… grown your audience with new, aligned potential clients who read your compelling comment,


… and with only a couple more clicks, turned one of those responses into a standout authority post for your own audience.
