When you are deciding whether to accept a new friend or connection request, do the assumptions you are making serve your goals?

Veronica always connects with someone she is considering business with so she can sit back and observe for a while. This so she can get a sense of whether she is on the same page as them and gain more information that she needs to make a decision.

Veronica can tell from a quick skim of their posts whether they are likely to spam her newsfeed and be in her inbox trying to sell. If she smells that then she doesn’t accept the request. But, she doesn’t make a general assumption that those connecting with her only want to sell to her.

Your life and business will transform if you choose to believe the ‘truth’ that benefits you and disregard the version of the truth that doesn’t benefit you.
