Are you searching for the right membership software?
Finding the right membership site software to host your online program content is a challenge.
WordPress plugins that allow you to retain control of the content but the responsibility for developing and maintaining your membership website rests with you.
And third-party sites where your course content sits on their platform, and they take care of developing and maintaining the membership site infrastructure. But, the monthly subscription is an expense as it isn’t yet being covered by profits from program sales.
You look around at the programs you’ve purchased from other experts that are housed in a professional members area, and you worry that your clients won’t take your program seriously until you can find an option that meets your requirements.
So it’s understandable when the overwhelming choices and options stop so many talented coaches and experts from ever launching their own program.
For a long time, I have been keeping my eyes open for membership site software that I can use in my own business AND that I can recommend to you.
I’ve seen plenty of good options, but either the monthly subscription to get started is in the $80/month ballpark – not necessarily economically viable when your program isn’t making any or many sales yet.
But the lower-cost options had limitations with which features you could access, or what the software was capable of.
In October, I was introduced to a relatively new membership site platform – MemberVault.
I logged in, had a mooch around inside and liked what I saw so I decided to use it to host my Mile-Deep Facebook Marketing Accelerator program.
Before I recommended it, I wanted to use it properly for myself, and introduce it as an option for my Accelerator clients who were all creating and selling their online course through Facebook.
It’s packed with features, including gamification and affiliate tracking.
(Gamification is making a game out of a process. E.g. do this, and get xx points. Get xx points, and you get this reward.)
As your members log in to access one of your programs, they can see and buy any others you have inside MemberVault. You can make sales from MemberVault directly using their Stripe or PayPal integration, or link off to your sales page.
You can even add the Facebook pixel so you can retarget people with the program they looked at.
What else…? Oh yes… quiz answers.
From inside your MemberVault you can set coaching or homework questions for your members and receive their responses via email. That’s neat.
There is a Facebook group for users of the software, and Mike and Erin (the founders) are very active and responsive in the community most days.
You can also use MemberVault to host your free lead magnet and online challenge content.
You can enrol your first paying clients into your program for free. You can remain on the free MemberVault level until you have FIFTY paying clients – and you’ll still have access to ALL the features!
