Ok, so you’re aware that you need help to get online marketing working for you, but who do you listen to?
Here’s a quick tip…
When you’re choosing the online marketing mentor or trainer to help you, ask them this one question:
“How much of your household income is made from your own online marketing?”
There aren’t very many who can answer, “100%”.

Introducing My 8 Step Social Marketing Profits Blueprint™
Step #1 Attract: Find, and be found by, your ideal clients.
Are you attracting the right people to like and follow you? When your ideal clients view your profiles, can they easily identify themselves as your prospect, or is your online presence repelling the very people you want to serve? What are you doing to get in front of new, ideal clients every day?
Step #2 Connect: Initiate conversations and begin to build an emotional connection.
Let your followers know that you care by having conversations and showing an interest in them. Building emotional connections is essential if you want them to give a fig about you and what you’ve got to say and offer.
Step #3 Capture: Invite your followers to opt in for your lead magnet so you can capture email addresses
Now you’ve attracted a new like/follow, and begun to build an emotional connection, offer a compelling Lead Magnet in exchange for their email address to start building your list of warm leads. If you’re not capturing email addresses at step 3, frankly you should not invest time in social marketing when your future income is so vulnerable – remember Bebo and Friends Reunited?! All of the social media sites you are currently using to market your business will disappear one day too, and when that happens we will all have to start again elsewhere.
Not only that but very few (read zero) people will be ready to buy the first time they come across you. So without a lead magnet, you’re losing the ability to stay in touch with your connections, and nurture your relationship to remind them of your existence. (see step 4)
At this stage, adding a Trip Wire to your conversion funnel will provide the opportunity to sort out the ‘freebie hunting opt-ins’ from the ‘committed prospects’. Someone who has made a small investment in you is much more likely to invest in you again. Plus, of course the other benefit is that it provides a nice little passive income for you too – perhaps your first introduction to leverage that will inspire you to create more and more! 🙂
Step #4 Nurture: Send regular value/promo emails to follow up and nurture relationships until they’re feeling confident enough to buy
Similar to step #2, now you’ve captured their email address, continue building your relationship on social media, but you should also be sending regular emails too… at least weekly! It’s your job to remind your prospects to buy from you, it’s not their job to remember! It’s also your job to add enormous value to your community, so they feel you care more about them than their credit card.
When they are ready to buy or hear of someone who is, they’ll remember you.
Step #5 Verify: Position yourself in a Category of One, and verify your expertise by creating valuable content
At step 5, your new connection has began to know and like you, but now you need to verify that you’re the expert that can solve ‘their pain’, show them why they should be investing in working with you, and how you can serve them. Largely this is a combination of you sharing your knowledge via the content you create, and promoting your offers. Don’t shy away from asking for the sale (unless you don’t want any sales that is?!)
Step 6 Satisfy: Prove that you can be trusted to deliver the results you promise
Your new connection now knows and likes you, and can see that you’re the person they must work with if they want to get the results you promise. But how do they know you will actually deliver on your promises? Testimonials, positive feedback, and reviews are the answer… social proof!
Robert Cialdini said “in times of uncertainty, we look around us to see what our peers are doing” – share the testimonials, reviews, and positive feedback with your followers so they can see what their peers are saying!
Step #7 Consult: They’re ready to invest in your low to mid ticket product, or apply for your high ticket program
Your connection is now ready to invest something in you… maybe a small financial investment in your book or low-mid ticket product or program, or an investment of time – showing up for your webinar, speaking to you on the phone to discuss working with you, or applying for your big ticket program. You’re almost there!
Step #8 Convert: You’ve gained a new high ticket private client
Woohoo! You’ve done it! You’ve gained a new private client, or big ticket program member. Don’t forget to capture their testimonials!
But listen, there’s something you should know. While it is entirely possible to take a new connection from steps 1 to 8 in a matter of hours, it’s not the norm. Online marketing is a long term relationship building vehicle that WILL deliver you a consistent stream of warm leads and sales – but over time, not instantly.
